8. Slack Integration
Our Service operates primarily through Slack:
- Slack workspace access is required to receive alerts and use our bots
- Slack messages are used to deliver notifications and service communications
- Slack profile information may be visible to other workspace members
- Slack's privacy policy also governs data handling within their platform
You can manage your Slack notifications and privacy settings within the Slack application.
9. Orders Dashboard
The Orders Dashboard feature allows you to export and visualize your Costco precious metals purchase
history. This section explains how data is handled when you use this feature.
How the Export Script Works
The export script runs locally in your browser and applies keyword filtering to identify precious metals
purchases only. Orders that don't match are never transmitted to our servers. Even within a single
order, only precious metals line items are exported—other items in the same transaction are filtered out
locally.
Data We Collect Through the Dashboard
For qualifying orders, we collect:
- Order details: date, time, item description, SKU, quantity, and price
- Order type: whether the purchase was made online or in-store
- Membership email: to help you identify which Costco membership the order belongs to
- Payment method: last four digits and card type (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) to help you
track rewards across cards
We do not collect your Costco password or shipping address through this feature.
How Your Dashboard Data is Secured
Your exported order data is stored in a secure database with row-level security, meaning only you can
access your data through the dashboard. Your unique identifier links you to your data, which is why it
is important to keep it private. As the service operator, we have backend access for troubleshooting and
support purposes only.
Dashboard Data Retention
Your order data remains in the system while you are an active subscriber. If you cancel your
subscription, your identifiable information will be automatically purged within 30 days. Anonymized,
aggregate data (such as purchase volumes and dates with no link to your identity) may be retained for
service improvement purposes.
If you want your identifiable information deleted at any time, contact support@tremscol.com and it will
be handled within 7 business days.
Exporting Your Data
Gold tier members can export their full order history as a CSV directly from the dashboard. Silver tier
members can request a data export by emailing support@tremscol.com—requests are fulfilled within 7
business days.
Your Control
You can stop using the export script at any time without affecting your other Gold Restock Bot features,
request a full export of your stored data, and request deletion of your identifiable information at any
time (this will disable dashboard features).
